Oil & Gas Industry
Onsite medical personnel and a variety of equipment for:
- Remote locations or high hazard work
- First aid rooms or Mobile Treatment Centres
- Onsite ambulances or emergency transportation
- Plant turnarounds
- Camps in remote locations
- Emergency Medical Services including Drilling, Completions & Stimulations
- Emergency Response for Industrial situations including Blowout Control, Fires and Spills
- Emergency Medical standby for Seismic & Pipeline projects
- Any special event standby, where a high number of people are attending, and immediate response/care is required (such as CCF fight nights, rodeos, races, air shows)
- First Response (after local Municipal Emergency Services) in the event of a large scale disaster
Medical Attendants:
- are above average, ACP certified in Alberta, or as required by relevant provincial licensing requirements
- Medical Attendants have various levels of accreditation (EMR, EMT-A, EMT-P)
- Levels of medical care from First Aid to Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- Medical Attendants have access to a 24-hour on call physician for assistance
- Onsite Medical Personnel actively participate in daily safety meetings
Medical Transportation Vehicles and Mobile Treatment Centres (MTC’s) are:
- all 4x4 equipped specialized equipment
- most are lights and siren ready, which, under the direction of our Medical Director Dr. Robert Bernier, allows us to transport to any medical facility rather than just the county line
- staffed with trained personnel able to perform Basic Life Support or Advanced Life Support as required
- equipment can be used as an unmanned ETV
Emergency Transport Vehicles (ETV’s) are:
- also 4x4 equipped specialized equipment
- stand alone, unmanned specialized equipment
